What it does

Boocom Mining is the Group's resource business: limestone extraction in Kenya, and gold sourcing across the region.

It trades under its own name and brand, and runs its own operation.

What it is to the Group

Mining carries environmental, safety and community risk that no other company in the Group carries. That is why Boocom is a company of its own, held under Aptila Capital, rather than a division sitting alongside businesses that don't share the risk.

When Boocom sells to Afristok, the two contract as counterparties, at arm's length, on the terms either would offer an outside party.
